ASH WEDNESDAY

Today marks the beginning of lent and I will be going to mass tonight. As part of lent we are to make a scrafice for 40 days. Well Brandon and I got to talking and decided to participate this year. So we thought long and hard about something that is important in our lives that we could give up for 40 days. My first thought was, " I will give up going to the gym for 40 days!" Sounds like a great idea, right?! Not exactly, that might actually be fun and that is not the point.

So after thinking long and hard Brandon decided that he would give up his Play Station 3! That's right, your eyes are not deceiving you! My husband, the video game addict, will not play his play station for 40 days! I was so proud of him and will be even more proud of him if he pulls it off.

I couldn't think of anything to save my life! I have already given up drinking soda for dietary purposes and Red Bulls have become few and far between. So then Brandon suggested I give up my pillow for 40 days. I agreed because I have not slept with that thing since I was one year old and it will definetly be difficult.
