I usually work on Saturdays. Saturdays are not mandatory but more often than not I volunteer because it's only half day and you get a full days pay. It's not a bad deal! But I had forgotten how awesome it is to sleep in on Saturday mornings.
This Saturday was my first Saturday off in about a month so I took advantage and got together with my friend Alicia. When we usually get together, it's either at our house or her house and we just hang out. We met because Brandon and her husband John worked together. This was the first time we had gotten together without our husbands or her kids (she has two little ones Sydnie age 3 and Braydon age 1.)
We took full advantage of our new found freedom. We had lunch at Red Robin and did some shopping. Mainly for Braydon's first birthday but still shopping is shopping. It was soooo nice to get out and hang out with a girlfriend.
