We drove to ATL this past weekend for our first Braves Game of the season. I am starting to realize that Braves games are becoming annual events and I enjoy that. We left Knoxville at 10 am and drove all the way there in crappy rainy weather! It was aweful and I was positive the game would be rained out.
We got there early as usual and the game was still on and the tail-gaters were out in full force. These guys were playing beer pong in the parking lot. (I was trying to be discreet about taking the picture but this guy obviously saw me ...oops, but I think he was ok with it!)
So about two innings into the game the clouds started to roll in and I just knew our odds of seeing this game were not good.
Sure enough, after seeing only 20 minutes of the game the covered the field and there was an official RAIN DELAY!
We sat in the rain like "real fans." The rain delay lasted for two hours! And although that was not fun I was just glad the game was not cancelled.
Here is a funny picture of Brandon! Those storm clouds look scary! I think the positive thing about the storm was that it was alot better than sitting in the hot sun!
Here I am in my Braves gear.
Here I am touching my favorite player Jeff Francoeur. hehe!
I am sorry to report it did not end well for the Braves :( They lost 1-5.

looks like a lot of fun, even if there was a little rain. The point is to get out and have fun, right?
