Since I have been living in Tennessee I have developed some "unusual" pet peeves that I never imagined I would have...
1. I would like to drive down a road and NOT smell a skunk. It is not unusual to smell those smelly creatures. Now until I lived here I did not know what a skunk smelled like and I am sorry to say that I am VERY familiar with the smell. All I can is I better not run into one. We have even smelled them in our yard.
2. ROADKILL! I think I saw two pieces of roadkill this morning just on the way to work. I see things like racoons, rabbits, squirrels, etc. Now these are all normally very cute critters but they lose their appeal when there are blood and guts splattered across the road. A skunk smells pretty bad but a dead skunk is a MILLION times worse!
3. Which brings me to my next point...I am really scared to run something over. I don't want to be the cause of a poor animals death. I would just feel horrible.
4. Last but not least is the weather. It is just so unpredictable and I hate having to get up in the morning and turn on the weather just to see if it is safe to drive. Cause guess what... if its really bad weather you can pretty much forget about going anywhere.
Ahhhh... I feel so much better! Thanks for listening to me vent!
