I was bored and looking through my picture folders on my comp and since I have not posted in awhile decided to enlighten you with past pictures I had not shared before. ENJOY!

Currently keeping my attention....

I am a total SUCKER for tabloids, I admit. So obviously this is the story that has been on every magazine and website. I have enjoyed Jon and Kate Plus 8 for sometime now. And if anyone saw the new episode last night... it was awkward, to say the least.

They didn't even sit in the same room together until the very end and they both agreed that they were only there for their kids. I don't know why I care so much. When the camera are gone they are just a family with a lot of kids who deserve privacy and it sucks that fame and money have come between this family.

I can't even imagine what it would be like to have your life (marriage) video taped. Marriage is hard enough some days without a camera in your face and your private life, arguments, moments broadcast to the world. I try to put myself in their shoes. There are some days when as a married couple there is arguing involved. (Come on admit it, no one is perfect) and I just think to myself what if our arguments were on TV? That would put WAY more stress on a relationship. My proudest moments are not those when I am arguing with my husband and I can't imagine being judged on those moments.

Any thoughts?

I guess we will wait and see what will happen. Only time will tell.

Astros vs Braves

We drove to ATL this past weekend for our first Braves Game of the season. I am starting to realize that Braves games are becoming annual events and I enjoy that. We left Knoxville at 10 am and drove all the way there in crappy rainy weather! It was aweful and I was positive the game would be rained out.
We got there early as usual and the game was still on and the tail-gaters were out in full force. These guys were playing beer pong in the parking lot. (I was trying to be discreet about taking the picture but this guy obviously saw me ...oops, but I think he was ok with it!)

So about two innings into the game the clouds started to roll in and I just knew our odds of seeing this game were not good. Sure enough, after seeing only 20 minutes of the game the covered the field and there was an official RAIN DELAY!

We sat in the rain like "real fans." The rain delay lasted for two hours! And although that was not fun I was just glad the game was not cancelled. Here is a funny picture of Brandon! Those storm clouds look scary! I think the positive thing about the storm was that it was alot better than sitting in the hot sun! Here I am in my Braves gear.

Here I am touching my favorite player Jeff Francoeur. hehe!

I am sorry to report it did not end well for the Braves :( They lost 1-5.

New Favorite Read

My time has been consumed by reading a new blog I heard about on Oprah. It's the story of Matt, Liz, and Madeline. If anyone caught the episode of Oprah about amazing fathers you know what I am talking about. Click on the link and read.

It was such an amzing story and one that touched my heart.

All for the love of the game

This is Brandon's most recent softball injury. That is a GIANT bruise around his toe. At the game last night he was playing in right field and went to catch a fly ball and ran into the back fence at full speed! I know, right? And despite the injury, he finished the game. :) What a trooper!
At first we thought we had broken his toe, he can move it so we are happy as long as nothing is broken. He is limping around but we can handle that. Knowing Brandon, he will back out there at Monday's game.
This is the second injury of the season so I hope it can only get better from here.
NO MORE INJURIES!
